Elisabeth Galley

Arts Consulting Group
Vice President
Dallas Office

Elisabeth Galley has more than 30 years of experience as a fundraising and development professional for nonprofit arts and culture organizations. Ms. Galley rejoins Arts Consulting Group to open its Dallas office and expand its revenue enhancement and facility & program planning practice areas. Her areas of expertise include capital campaign feasibility, strategy, management, and implementation, as well as maximizing major gift and annual fund programs.

Most recently, Ms. Galley served as Chief Development Officer at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Under her leadership, the Museum finished its $185 million campaign one year ahead of schedule which enabled the new building to open three months early, on budget with no short- or long-term debt, and with a $19 million endowment. During her 5-year tenure, Ms. Galley expanded the Museum’s operating reserves by $26 million and doubled its contributed revenue to $4 million annually. Prior to joining the Perot Museum, Ms. Galley was Vice President of Development for 7 years at the AT&T Performing Arts Center working on the $335 million campaign to build the multi-venue complex.

Although Ms. Galley has spent recent years in high-dollar capital campaigns, she hasn’t forgotten her fundraising roots. Early in her career, she served as Director of Development for several orchestras with fundraising budgets of under $1 million, including 8 years with Handel & Haydn Society in Boston.

Ms. Galley first joined ACG in 1998 where she worked with Tulsa Opera, Nevada Ballet Theatre, OrchestraX, Mozart Classical Orchestra, and the Carmel Bach Festival in interim development director and fundraising consulting roles. At the Carmel Bach Festival, Ms. Galley guided increased contributed income by 59% through an effective annual fund campaign, and foundation and corporate donor cultivation.

Ms. Galley holds a BA in English and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and nonprofit administration, both from the University of Delaware.
