Soprano Audra Methvin has performed the roles of Adina (The Elixir of Love) in The Dallas Opera’s outreach program, Violetta (La Traviata) with Opera in the Ozarks, Sandrina (La Finta Giardiniera), and the title role in Susannah with the Meadows Opera Theatre, and Micaela (Carmen), and the title role in Suor Angelica with Central City Opera. In concert, Ms. Methvin has performed with the Dallas Symphony, Roswell Symphony, Boulder Symphony, and Colorado Symphony. Ms. Methvin was the 2nd Prize winner in the Shreveport Opera Singer of the Year Competition (2015), 1st Prize Winner of The Dallas Opera Guild Vocal Competition (2014), she received the Encouragement Award in the McCammon Voice Competition (2013), and 1st Prize winner of the Meistersinger Competition in Graz, Austria (2013).
